Guro Digital Complex Station (구로디지털단지역, 九老디지털團地驛) is a station on line 2 of the Seoul subway. It is next to Shindaebang and Daerim Station. Its name until recently was Gurogongdan Station (구로공단역).
Guro Digital Complex Station has been going a reconstruction recently, and it is being made into a new business district with a large number of completely new office buildings. At the same time about half of the area around the station remains the way it was befure reconstruction, and thus circa 1980s shikdangs, old shops and whatnot still remain while just next door or across the street will be new office buildings less than a few years old. The advantage of the area for businesses is being able to be located in a brand new office building but at substantially lower prices than an area in Gangnam for example, in which office buildings even a few decades old end up costing much more.
There is some nightlife in the area, reminiscent of Anyang 1-beonga or the area around Shincheon Station, as well as smaller chain coffee shops, Lotteria, KFC and other such places.
There is a small stream right by the station that eventually finds its way into the Anyangcheon.
