메 -- (originally spelled 뫼) a mountain or hill.
This is an archaic word and is not in common use today as a stand-alone word. It can, however, be seen in modern compounds such as 멧돼지 (wild boar) and 메아리 (echo). In modern Korean, mountain is 산 and hill is 언덕.
