물수건

물수건 (mulsugeon, 물, water.hand.cloth) is the name for the towels or wet tissues one often gets at a restaurant to wash hands to eat. This custom is the same as the one in Japan where one gets an oshibori for the same task. Though these are often shaped exactly like facecloths in the west they are usually only used to wash ones hands, and to wash one's face, neck etc. is the mark of a middle-aged man or ajosshi (아저씨).
