Sanbon Station
(Redirected from 산본역)
Towards Danggogae (443) Geumjeong (444) Sanbon (445) Surisan Towards Oido

Sanbon Station (산본역, , mountain.source.station) is a station on line four of the Seoul subway in the area known as Sanbon. It is next to Geumjeong and Surisan Station. If you come out the main entrance to the station and walk straight about one block, you'll come to a plaza full of bars and shops. To the rear of the station is a large residential area that eventually leads to a number of hills and mountains, but in front of that is an inline skate park and some other athletic areas.

The train tracks are located above ground. When taking the line 4 train in to Seoul, the last car of the train will be closest to the stairs leading to a transfer to line 2 in Sadang Station. When getting off the train in Sanbon, around the middle of the second cars on each side will be the closest to the stairs leading down for those who wish to get off ahead of the crowd.
