죽었다는 헛소문이 돈 사람은 오래 산다 -- Those whose death is rumored live longest.
This proverb teaches us that when people who are clearly alive have rumors circulated about their recent death, it is almost as if they gain a second life by "cheating death. (버젓이 살아 있는데도 죽었다고 헛소문이 돈 사람은 두 몫의 삶을 누리는 것과 같기 때문에 오래 살게 된다는 말.)
