The 2006 World Roller Speed Skating Championships (2006세계롤러스피드스케이팅 선수권대회) were held in Anyang from September 2 to September 9. There were 12 events featuring over 1,000 competitors from 48 countries, with competition held at the Anyang Inline Roller Stadium, and also on the street leading from the Stadium down to Hagwon-ga on the last day of the event.

• Colombia finished first with 51 medals (15 gold), with a total 2,523 points.
• South Korea was second with 23 medals (7 gold, 8 silver, 8 bronze), with a total 2,334 points.
• Italy came in third with 2,269 points.
• The US was fourth with 2,183 points.
