Amtae-do (암태도, 岩泰島) is an archipelago in Shinan county, Jeollanam-do, located 28.5 kilometers away from the city of Mokpo. It is in Amtae-myeon and it lies southeast of Ji-do and Jido-eup, the county seat. It has an area of 43.09 square kilometers and in 2001 it had a population of 2,956.
