Apgujeong, more specifically Apgujeong-dong (압구정동) is an area in Gangnam in Seoul. The area around Apgujeong is the most well-off in the city, and Cheongdam-dong next to it even more so. Apgujeong has a good nightlife but is quite different from places like Hongdae and Itaewon for the sheer opulence of the customers; there are a number of clubs but a large number of them are jazz clubs, expensive wine bars, and so on.
Shopping
The streets around Rodeo Street are brimming with fashion outlets, however, if bigger shopping venues are your thing, then you can try the Galleria or Hyundai Department Stores. Hyundai is located outside of Exit 6 of Apgujeong Station and Galleria is located east from the north entrance to Rodeo.
Movie Theaters
Apgujeong has two big movie theaters. CinePlus is located just down from Exit 3 of Apgujeong Station. CineCity is easier to be reached by walking north from Gangnam-gu Office Station and making a right at the big Hakdong intersection. You'll see the large building off to the right.

You can reach Apgujeong from walking east of Apgujeong Station or north from Gangnam-gu Office Station. The area is also accessible by bus numbers 145, 147, 606, 1411, 2225, 4411, and 4417
