Aurora, Colorado is a large suburb on the eastern side of Denver. Korean businesses and professionals' offices are scattered over a large area, but the principal focus is around the intersection of Havana and Iliff Streets. A rather nice street map has been produced showing the location of Korean businesses in the area of greatest concentration.

The Weekly Colorado Times, with offices at 1450 South Havana #336, is a Korean-language free newspaper.

Korea Weekly is at 2222 South Havana #D. This paper has maps showing the locations of Korean businesses in Aurora and Colorado Springs.

E-Mart is on Exposition Avenue between Sable and Abilene.

H-Mart (Hanareum AsianMart), at 2851 S. Parker Rd., just west of Havana St., is a large Korean supermarket (also with sections for Middle Eastern, Mexican and Southeast Asian foods.) Its shopping center contains a cafe with a Korean menu and some other Korean-owned businesses.

M-Mart (or Midopa Mart) has recently moved to 2000 South Havana Street. This shop is somewhat smaller but still has a good selection. The Midopa Restaurant is in the same complex, with a varied and tasty Korean menu.

In Havana Plaza (2222 South Havana), Korean-run businesses predominate. They include the Dawon Ddeokjip, which has a good selection of rice cake (including an unusual and succulent brown rice with garbanzo bean variety), and the Jong Ga shiktang.

Another ddeokjip, Obok Ddeok, is located at 2720-H South Havana St.

Along Iliff you can find several more Korean restaurants: Korea House at 10393 E. Iliff, Seoul Korean BBQ at 12091.

A ways to the north at 800 South Havana, is Yoon 'n You, a restaurant whose specialty is kalguksu. There's a good variety of other noodle dishes, several kinds of sundubu, and other representative menu items.

For Champpong and Chajang fans, the Happy China is at 1122 E. Peoria. San-tong across Iliff from the Korea House, with a more standard American-Chinese menu, is another of several Korean-owned Chinese restaurants in the area.
