Baekun Lake

The lake in early October.
Baekun Lake
Hangul: 백운호수
Hanja:
Revised Romanization: baegunhosu
McCune-Reischauer:

Baekun Lake is a small, man-made lake in Hakui-dong in Uiwang, though it's really just a few dozen yards from the city limits of Anyang. Though not too large, it has a nice walking path running round it, and you can also either rent a rowboat or take a ride on a motorboat. The easiest way to get there is to either take a taxi, or head out Indeogwon Station exit 2 and catch the #05 bus. There are a few restaurants -- mostly seafood, but also one serving up bosintang and rabbit -- and coffee shops in the area, such as the Sol Cafe.

It has an area of 363,636㎡ and was constructed for use as a reservoir for Anyang.
