Baengnyeonsa (백련사) temple is in Samgong-ni in Seolcheon-myeon, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do. Built during the Shilla era on the slopes of Deogyusan, it is surrounded by camelia trees. It is located in Deogyusan National Park.
