Bamboo Theme Park (대나무 테마파크) is located in Damyang county, Jeollanam-do. The site comprises 99,173㎡ of land, and is most notable for large, green, bamboo (대나무) forests. A number of TV shows and movies have filmed scenes here, the best known of which is the 2003 film Sword in the Moon.
Visitors can attend the Damyang Bamboo Festival held each spring, and visit the Damyang Bamboo Museum. There is a bamboo market in Damyang held every five days, when the date ends with a "2" or a "7".
