Beomgye Station (범계역) is a station on line four of the Seoul subway. It is next to Pyeongchon and Geumjeong Station. Exits 1 and 2 are near to Rodeo Street, exit 3 leads to the front of New Core Outlet, and exit 4 leads to the bus stop behind the Outlet; there is also a short tunnel to the Kim's Club supermarket. Shops in the station itself include a flower shop; a shoe store; a discount book store; a computer parts and printer cartridges store; and a DVD and music shop. If you are hungry there is a Storyway convenience store and a stand selling toast, hot bars, and kimbap, or the food court in Kim's Club. The station is one of the more handicapped-accessible on the line, with every stairway having a wheelchair lift, and the bathrooms and turnstiles are also accessible.
Exits 1 and 3 are currently closed for construction. The station's telephone number is 031) 384 7788.
According to the Korean Wikipedia, the name of the station (besides the character for station itself) has no hanja - the name comes from a location in Anyang called Hogye-dong (호계동, 虎溪洞), meaning tiger grotto district. The old word for the area uses the native Korean word for - 'beom' (범).
