Boeun-eup (보은읍) (報恩邑) is the commercial and government center of Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. It consists of 28 villages or ri (里). On its southwestern border lies Suhan-myeon. On the northwest is Naebuk-myeon. A northern boundary is shared with Sanoe-myeon. To the east are found Naesongni-myeon and Oesongni-myeon. Across the southeastern border is Tanbu-myeon. Samseung-myeon is to the south.
