Bongsan Furniture Street (봉산가구골목) is just south of downtown Daegu, between Bandwoldang and Kyungpook University Hospital Stations. Since the 1960s, the area grew to include a large ethnic Chinese community and developed into an street of furniture dealers. Although the businesses on the street have dwindled over the years and also with Chilseong Market holding the best reputation for cost-conscious furniture shopping, it still remains a good area to visit when shopping for new or used furniture or even looking for Ikea-esque furnishing.
