Boseong Green Tea Fields

Boseong Green Tea Fields are located in Boseong county, Jeollanam-do, and are one of the most popular tourist attractions in the province.

There are a number of tea fields clustered around Boseong, but perhaps the most notable is the Daehan Daeop Tourist Tea Plantation. Green tea fields form rows that climb the nearby hills. The entrance to the plantation is lined with tall cedar trees, and throughout the area are restaurants, gift shops, and burial mounds.

It's a relatively short trip to Boseong from Gwangju and other points in Jeollanam-do, and it's a short bus ride to the fields from Boseong-eup. Nonetheless, there are a lot of motels available throughout Boseong county, easily recognizable by their neon 모텔 signs. For a list of accommodation in Boseong, please browse this list (in Korean).
