Korean name
Hangul: 북악산
Hanja:
Revised Romanization: Bugaksan
McCune-Reischauer:

Bugaksan is a mountain in Jongno-gu, Seoul that overlooks Gyeongbokgung and Cheong Wa Dae, the presidential mansion also known as the "Blue House." It is 342 meters high and is capped by Palgakjeon Pavilion, a two-story building with panoramic views of Seoul.

Hiking is limited, due to security restrictions owing to the proximity of government buildings and military installations, but the Bugak Skyway, a 19-km long driving course, is a popular alternative.
