The Bukhan River (북한강, 北漢江) is a river in both Gangwon-do and Gyeonggi-do. Part of it is on the border between the two countries and it flows into North Korea as well. The total watershed is 11,343.24㎢, with 7,787.95㎢ of that in South Korea. The river begins in the well-known Geumgangsan (금강산, 金剛山), where families from the North and the South are sometimes brought together for short reunions.
