Bukhansanseong

Bukhansanseong is a fortress located in Bukhansan National Park. Construction was began during the reign of King Gaeru in 132 A.D., and reached its present size in 1711, during the reign of King Seokjong. Damage caused by the Korean War was later repaired. Its ancient command center, Dongjangdae, was recently restored and opened to visitors.
