Byeongyeong Sacred Site is the former barracks of the Jeolla army in the Joseon dynasty. Presently the wall is over 1 kilometer in length and it partially encloses an area of 93,139 square meters. It is located in Byeongyeong-myeon, Gangjin county, Jeollanam-do and is designated a treasure by both Gangjin and Jeollanam-do.
