In Daegu, like the rest of Korea, cellphones are everywhere and one can buy them in the plethora of SK Telecom and KTF stores that dot the urban landscape. However, there are some good shopping options for foreigners looking to new or used cellphones, or trying to get hooked up with either a prepaid or monthly plan phone.
The service road leading to Camp Walker has a good selection of new and used cellphone vendors, some of whom offer monthly service plans. The service road in front of Bukbu Terminal also has an even greater selection of new and used phones for foreigners.
