Chamisul (참이슬) is one of the most popular brands of soju, distilled in Gyeonggi-do by Jinro. It has a somewhat more bitter taste than brands from other provinces. In 2006 the company unveiled Chamisul Fresh, a "lite" soju with a lower alcohol content.
