Tourism
Transportation
Cheonan has been a well-connected city to Seoul and the rest of the country since the opening of the KTX in 2004 and the extension of line 1 of the Seoul Subway to Cheonan Station in 2005. Note that the KTX station (Cheonan-Asan Station) is located in the city of Asan and it takes a further 30 minutes or so by bus to the city centre, which will often make the line 1 a faster route if one's destination is right in the city.
