Cheongcho Lake (청초호, 靑草湖, green.grass.lake) is a lake in Sokcho city, Gangwon-do. It has a total area of 1.38 km2 and a circumference of 5 km. It is actually right along the East Sea / Sea of Japan, but is technically a lagoon because of a long thin sandbar that separates the two.
