Cheongdo (청도군, 淸道郡, clean.road.county) is a county in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The population as of 2004 was 48,043, including:

To the east of the county is the city of Gyeongju, to the west is the city of Daegu, to the south is Gyeongsangnam-do's county of Changnyeong, the city of Miryang and the city of Ulsan, and to the north are the cities of Gyeongsan and Daegu.
To the east of the county is the end of the Taebaek Mountains, and there are a large number of mountains such as Gajisan (가지산, 1,240m), Munboksan (문복산, 1,014m), Unmunsan (운문산, 1,188m), and in other directions are mountains such as Biseulsan (비슬산, 1,084m), Subongsan (수봉산, 593m), Samseongsan (삼성산, 663m), Yonggaksan (용각산, 693m), Seonuisan (선의산, 756m), Guryongsan (구룡산, 675m), Cheolmasan (철마산, 630m), Hwaaksan (화악산, 932m), Cheonwangsan (천왕산, 619m), and Myobongsan (묘봉산, 513m).
Cheongdo is located away from the sea and has a continental climate. The average yearly temperature is 13.1℃, the average temperature in January is -1℃, and the average in August is 27℃. The average yearly precipitation is 1,125mm.
