Cheongnyangni Station
(Redirected from Cheongnyangni)
Cheongnyangni Station
Hangul: 청량리역
Hanja: 清涼里驛
Revised Romanization: Cheongnyangni-yeok
McCune-Reischauer: Ch'ŏngnyangni-yŏk

Cheongnyangni Station is the Seoul terminus for passenger trains serving the eastern part of South Korea. The station is located just east of downtown Seoul, on the Gyeongwon Line.

Passenger trains serving the following Korean National Railroad lines terminate at Cheongnyangni Station:

In addition, the station was the original eastern terminus of Seoul Subway Line 1 when that line opened in 1974. Today, subway trains operate from Cheongnyangni north to Uijeongbu and southwest to Seoul Station, Incheon, and Suwon. A commuter train also runs east to Deokso station on the Jungang line. A branch of Line 1 connects Cheongnynangni to Yongsan, bypassing Seoul Station.
