Cheongpyeongsa

Cheongpyeongsa is a Buddhist temple in Cheongpyeong-ni, Buksan-myeon, Chuncheon-shi, Gyeongsangbuk-do. This temple is along a valley draining the southern side of Obongsan. It was built in 973 A.D. Some of the structures and artwork were destroyed in the Korean War.

  • By road - there are a couple roads winding thru the mountains from Highway 46
  • By ferry - see Chuncheon boats for ferry from Soyang Dam area. Follow the road around the head of the lake and up the valley to the right.
