Cheongyang (청양군, 靑陽郡, blue.sun.county) is a county in Chungcheongnam-do. The population as of 2004 was 35,828, including:

- 202 non-Koreans.

To the east is the city of Gongju, to the west is the city of Boryeong, to the south is the county of Buyeo, and to the north are the counties of Hongseong and Yesan.
The Charyeong Mountains pass through the county from the northeast to the southwest, and some of the mountains there include Seongtaesan (성태산, 624m), Namsan (남산, 367m), Useongsan (우성산, 牛城山:237m), and Bibongsan (비봉산, 飛鳳山).
The county is located a few dozen km away from the ocean. The average yearly temperature is 12℃, the average in January is -2.9℃, and the average in August is 26.2℃. The average yearly precipitation is 1,195.9mm, which is average for Korea.
