Chugye University for the Arts is fine arts university in Seodaemun-gu in central Seoul. Undergraduate courses are offered toward Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees; they are provided by colleges of Music, Fine Arts, and Literature. Graduate offerings at the Master's level are provided through the Graduate School of Arts Management.
The school opened as a two-year college in 1974 with an enrollment of 200. The program was extended to four years in length in 1976. It became a university in 1997.
