Chuncheon Lake (춘천호, 春川湖) is a lake 12 km from the city of Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. It is man-made and was created by the Chuncheon Dam (춘천댐) in 1965. It has a total area of 17 km2 and 150 million tonnes of water.
