The Coffee Bean (커피빈), also known as The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, is a large coffee chain in Korea. As of November 2005 it has 54 locations in the country. Larger locations often have smoking sections but are completely ventilated and kept away from other parts of the store. However, smoking sections are often kept out in front to allow windows to be open, frequently giving smokers the best view.
The Coffee Bean uses a so-called "pink card" (핑크카드), a card that gives customers a free drink after punching twelve holes in it.
