Confucianism (유교사상, 儒敎思想) is the underpinning of much of the cultures in East Asia, especially China, Korea and Japan. The 3 cardinal duties in Confucian culture are (in order) :

1. To country
2. To family, especially respect for elders, parents and ancestors
3. To friends
