Damyang-eup (담양읍) is the county seat of Damyang county, Jeollanam-do. It has an area of 29.52 square kilometers and in 2001 it had a population of 16,190.

Damyang-eup is served by the tiny Damyang Bus Terminal. It handles local buses to many tourist spots in the area, and it runs regular buses to nearby Gwangju. For other destinations in the province, passengers will most likely have to travel to Gwangju and then transfer to their region of choice.
