Ddeokbokki-ddeok is made in the form of thin cylinders, traditionally from rice but nowadays street vendors commonly use it made from wheat. The wheat kind has a yellowish appearance and a slimier, less-chewy texture. Ddeokbokki-ddeok is used for making ddeokbokki.
