One of the major localities for fossilized dinosaur footprints is in Deongmyeong-ni, Hai-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. These prints are 35 cms. across and are spaced 150 cms. apart. The prints are submerged at high tide and are best seen when the moon is in a position where the tide is extra-low. Other tracks are found in Donghae-myeon in the same county. Around 27 footprint sites have been found so far in Gyeongsangnam-do.
Fossilized bird tracks are also found in Goseong-gun.
The Goseong Dinosaur Fair for Kids is held every September at several locations around Goseong-gun.
