Doam-myeon is one of ten myeon in Gangjin county, Jeollanam-do. As of 2003 the population is 3,604.

Notable places include:

• Baekryeonsa temple
• Dasan Chodang - the house of exile for Jeong Yak-yong, penname Dasan, a notable writer in the late-18th and 19th centuries.
• Dasan's Relics Exhibition Hall
• Yongmunsa temple
• Mandeoksan mountain, 409 meters.

A 5-kilometer hiking trail connects all five of the above locations (see map here, in Korean).
