The intersection outside the station is undergoing construction and will be until the year 2009 for the planned extension of the Bundang line which will extend all the way to the station and beyond. Because of this, one of the lanes on the road is usually stopped up and traffic can be a nightmare up to the intersection.
There are two Starbucks locations close to the station, out exits 2 and 3. The (formerly known) Motorola Building is outside exit 4. After leaving exit 4 one can go directly down the hill into Apgujeong-dong, and the distance between there and the station is actually closer than to Apgujeong Station.
