Exit 3 of Gangnam Station
Gangnam Station (강남역, 江南驛, river.south.station) is a station on line two of the Seoul subway. It is next to Yeoksam and Seoul National University of Education Station. In municipal transportation Gangnam Station is the station with the largest number of daily users in the entire country, with a daily average of 187,406 people using the station each day in 2005.
Exits 6 and 7 are the main exits to leave from when going to meet someone, and going straight out from either of these two will eventually lead north to Nonhyeon Station on the line 7, though this is about a 15-minute walk. Kyobo Books is also on the way, and going ten minutes forward from exit 6 will eventually show the tower on the left before the first large intersection, and the bookstore will be in the basement.
The front of exit 7 leads to shops such as Coffee Bean, Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts as well as the movie theatre (that does not show credits), whereas exit 6 has more small bars in the back streets (but also a Starbucks location). Turning right after going forward a little ways from exit 7 will lead up the hill where the central library is located, and turning right after going a bit farther will lead to restaurants and bars, followed by some nicer pubs further up, and a few sky bars in the buildings in the back where one can get cocktails for about 10,000 won while looking south at the city from the 8th floor or so.

- Oktoberfest is the place to go for the German beer lovers. It offers four kinds of draught beer coming in two different sizes--large and regular or large and small. The beer kegs are located right in the hall, behind the glass. Weissbier tastes especially great, which most foreigners rarely fail to notice. The staff are wearing what looks like traditional German clothes, they are friendly and nice. Upon entering, wait for the waitress/waiter to usher you to your table. You'll be asked if you prefer to sit in the non-smoking area. The kitchen is represented by all kinds of Koreanized German dishes, so don't be surprised to find fried kimchi in your sausage plate. Gangnam station, exit 5, take your first turn on the right and walk until you see a triangular roof over the entrance that takes you down into the basement.
