[edit] Miam Exercise Park

Staircase leading to Miam Exercise Park

At the entrance to the hiking trails in Haenam-eup is Miam Exercise Park (미암체육공원). There are a number of benches, a few push-up and pull-up stations, and a two-story observatory. Behind the park, the trails continue up Geumgangsan.

[edit] Getting There

After arriving at Haenam's bus terminal, exit and make a left, walking approximately ten minutes until reaching the two new, large buildings that make up the Haenam County Assembly Plaza. Walk to the left, up the street that climbs the hill behind the plaza. At the end of the street, past the apartments and day care centers atop the hill is a large sign advertising a Buddhist education center (해남불교대학). There is a smaller arrow pointing to a staircase to the right. Follow the staircase to Miam Exercise Park.
