Geumseongsan

Geumseongsan (금성산, 錦城山) is a mountain in Geumseong-myeon, Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do. An extinct volcano, it is 531 meters high at its peak.

According to one source: "Associated with this mountain there is a legend that states if a person buries one's family on top of the mountain, the man will be lucky and rich, and it will not rain for three months in this region. When it didn't rain for a long time, the villagers climbed and dug graves" [1].

Sujeongsa temple is located in Geumseongsan. There is also a stone fortress, Geumseongsan Sanseong, at the top of the mountain.
