Goheung-eup - Galbijim

Goheung-eup is one of two eup located in Goheung county, Jeollanam-do. It has an area of 34.94㎢, and in 2001 it had a population of 14,869.

Goheung-myeon became Goheung-eup in 1979, and became the county seat when Goheung county was formed in 1994.

Goheung Hyanggyo – Confucian academy
A number of mountains spill into Goheung from neighboring Boseong, including Chuwolsan and Jogyesan. Unamsan is the highest point in Goheung, measuring 487 meters.
