Guk-do (국도, 國島) is a very small island south of and technically a part of the city of Tongyeong. It has an area of 0.56㎢, 4.5 km of coastline, and the highest point is 242 metres above sea level. A total of 27 people lived on the island in 1999. Of all the inhabited islands in the province of Gyeongsangnam-do, Guk-do is the farthest from land. It is located in Yokji-myeon and its village is called Donghang-ni.
