[edit] Restaurants
As the average Korean, Japanese, and Chinese restaurants are in abundance throughout Korea and are easy for foreigners to find, the following restaurants reflect a sampling of restaurants considered to be either popular or are western-friendly choices and other ethnic foods.
[edit] Shopping
Main article: Shopping in Guri
To compliment the construction of new apartments all over Guri, there are a number of relatively new department stores in town. These include GS Square Department Store and Lotte Mart. There is also a Rodeo Drive, Guri Fashion Outlet, a movie theatre, and several markets.
[edit] Tourism
Guri is home to several mountains, which comprise most of the cultural tourism in the area. Another locally well-known site is Donggureung, a set of Joseon Dynasty tombs, which is the final resting place of King Taejo, the dynastic founder.
[edit] Transportation
Guri is served by the Jungang Line, which runs from Youngsan in Seoul to Chuncheon in Gangwon-do. Also, a 15-20 minute bus will take you to Gangbyeon Station and Technomart. From there, you can reach most of central, southern, and northern Seoul with ease.
