Gwaneumsong, known as the Pine Tree of Mercy (Pinus densiflora s. et z), is located in Yeongwol-gun in Gangwon-do. In 1988 it was designated as Natural Monument No. 349. It has two trunks. King Danjong of Joseon was said to have spent time in this tree during his exile.

Legends: The bark of this tree is said to turn black when misfortunes happen.
