Gwangju Art Street (광주예술의 거리) is located in Dong-gu, Gwangju city. It is 300 meters long and has shops and displays similar to Insa-dong in Seoul---with art supplies, crafts, paintings, ceramics, souvineers, musical performances, and so on---but on a much smaller scale. Each Saturday the street becomes a pedestrian area as cars are prohibited. There is a flea market on Saturday as well.
