Gwangju National Museum, in Buk-gu, Gwangju
The Gwangju National Museum is a museum in Gwangju documenting the cultural history of Jeollanam-do from the Paleolithic Age through the Joseon Dynasty. It first opened in 1978.
The museum is closed on Mondays but admission is free on the first Sunday of each month. Admission is free for those under 18 or over 65 and either 200 or 400 won for others.
