Gwangyang Maehwa Festival

Gwangyang Maehwa Festival takes place each March in Gwangyang city, Jeollanam-do. Held at Maehwa Village, both the festival and the site celebrate the region's ties to maehwa (Japanese apricot), and the main draws are seeing maehwa blossoms and trying apricot-flavored foods. There is a 100,000 square meter apricot garden, as well as a number of musical performances, a treasure hunt, and a spring fashion show.
