A neighborhood of Gwangyang 3 kilometers east of Jungmadong. It is a fairly large neighborhood with a hospital, government facilities, and several apartment building complexes. The local schools employ foreigner teachers, and there are 2 hagwons in this neighborhood. Reachable by bus routes 88 and 34 which travel along Gwangyeongno and Geumyeongno.

Travelers passing by should take notice of the Gwangyeong Market, a major open-air market that takes place on weekends in the neighborhood. It starts across the street from Ace Market on Sangseolsuang-gil and continues around the block. Several open booths are in the center where a shopper can get a large selection of fish.
