Gyeryong (계룡시, 鷄龍市; chicken.dragon.city) is a city in Chungcheongnam-do. The population as of 2004 was 31,270 including:
- 31,174 Koreans and
- 96 non-Koreans.
The current mayor is Hong-Mook Choi. The city was created in 2003 after a split from Nonsan, following prolonged local agitation.
Approximately half (47%) of the city's inhabitants are either serving in the South Korean army, or are family of service members.

Gyeryongsan (Gyeryongsan: 계룡산), adjacent to the city, is considered the mountain with the most spiritual energy in Korea. It is also the heart of Gyeryongsan National Park.

To the east of Gyeryong is the city of Daejeon, to the west and south is the city of Nonsan, and to the north is the city of Gongju. Only 19% of the land in the city is agricultural.
The city can be divided into three geographical regions due to the mountains nearby. The average yearly temperature ranges from 11.2~11.7℃, and the average yearly precipitation is 1,500mm, with the least amount being 878mm in 2001, and the most in a year 2.312 mm in 1998.
Gyeryong is aout 150 kilometres from Seoul, giving an average travel time of about two hours by car or 70 minutes by train if taking the KTX.

As a military-oriented city, Gyeryong is often used for military conferences such as Defense Asia, and it is the location of the Agency for Defense Development (ADD) and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI).
