Hamyang (함양군, 咸陽郡, everything.sun.county) is a county in Gyeongsangnam-do. The population as of 2004 was 42,070, including:
- 41,922 Koreans and
- 148 non-Koreans.

To the south is the county of Sancheong, to the northeast is the county fo Geochang, to the northwest is the county of Jangsu in Jeollabuk-do, to the south is the county of Hadong, and to the southwest is the city of Namwon in Jeollanam-do.
Some of the mountains in the area include Namdeokyusan (남덕유산, 南德裕山:1,507m), Gittaebong (깃대봉, 1,015m), Wolbongsan (월봉산, 月峰山:1,279m), Hwangseoksan (황석산, 黃石山:1,080m), and Sambongsan (삼봉산, 三峰山:1,187m).
The average temperature in January is -1.5℃, the average in August is 25℃, and the average temperature over the year is 12.4℃. The average yearly precipitation is 1,395mm per year.
